When Barack Obama, the son of a white woman and a black man, was born, interracial marriage was illegal in several states of the Union. Now, Senator Barack Obama is the President of the United States of America.

Tonight, because Barack Obama never made his Presidential race about his race, but about his character, one man's dream came true. It's a pity that he did not live to see it.

Congratulations, Mr. President.

Thank Stephen Colbert today.

Unless you haven't been paying attention, and I wasn't, Stephen Colbert, host of the Comedy Central Right-Wing Pundit Parody The Colbert Report, spoke at the White House Correspondents Association dinner and, bloviating as only his self-involved character can, Colbert took a flamethrower to all present. His speech was a brilliant piece of Swiftian Satire that cut very deeply. Although many were clearly not amused, it is only because the truth hurts and Colbert was merciless.

So thank Stephen Colbert for being the bravest man in America and telling it like it is...with jokes. You'll be glad you did.

My second (and last) review for Bad Movies [dot] Org. I get tired just thinking about how much work I put into writing this review. Who would have thought that watching a badly made movie and then making a list of "some" of its more obvious mistakes would turn out to be so much work?
Scifilm Review: JAWS 3 (1983)
I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this particular review for Scifilm.org was used as a reference on Wikipedia! I impress easy, I guess. :)
B-Movies Quarterly Magazine
Issue 5 (which was the final one, sad to say) contains my article "Kingdom Builders: The Making of Kingdom of the Spiders." Of everything that I have written to date, I am the most proud of this particular article.
